It’s fun and rewarding, you get to experience perks and culture that are unique to this company in our City so far. Though there may be times of hardships or the pay may not be the greatest, it’s all worth it in the end. I learned how different it is working for a team and with a chain of command as opposed to working as a freelance developer. There’s ups and downs to both sides, I very much prefer being in a team.
I am grateful that StackTrek gives you plenty of opportunities to work with various projects with requirements that challenges your comprehension and solving skills. Also, the environment is great for working on tough projects and difficult hurdles on development because of it’s good work atmosphere. I have learned a lot from various projects I have worked on, aside from the knowledge of different technologies and new techniques that are very useful, I also improved my time management and development skills.
Working in StackTrek is really a good experience and a good starting point for my career as a software developer. I quickly learned working with clients, with a fully functional team. Also, I am grateful that I learned in StackTrek is the technology behind blockchain. I was given an opportunity to be part of a blockchain training.
Here in StackTrek I have met people I respect and enjoy collaborating with. I learned a lot, mostly how to work with teams.
How to communicate with my team effectively. And ST uses technologies that are updated so we are encouraged to learn them. Blockchain and web developing. I am interested in learning AI.
Working in StackTrek has been a solid experience so far. Mainly because of the people you get to work with.
I have learned a lot of stuff! Working with clients first hand has broadened my horizons on what the field of software development is all about. Working in a fully functional team has also helped my improve my skills technically and inter-personally.
I am currently handling the development of the donut economy system and I really poured a lot of thoughts in how to develop, improve and add lots of security measure to donut economy features. Mobile development is fun if the devices used for developing are also good.
So far what excites me are the people at work and my clients. They are so fun to work with and they really helped me grow and gain more experience.
I’m on mobile development both on iOS and Android since I’m using react-native. Although I do back end stuff like in feathersJS and nodejs, but I mainly spend most of my time on front end tasks. I’ve already used different kinds of UI frameworks on past projects such as native-base, material-ui, semantic-ui and others. I also taught myself in some design and layout principles in order for me to easily have an alternative in case a designer is not around.
