OVERVIEW

No. We do not deliver an a certain piece of work or a certain number of hours. We are an extension fo your existing team, form a part of your staff and are integrated into your company culture and processes. Unlike outsourcing firms, your StackTrek Tech Team would be managed by the you, as an extension of your in-office team.

We require a deposit equivalent to 1 month salary of the developer/s that we assign to you. This deposit will be applied as a credit to the last invoice that the you, as client, will receive from us should you decide to disengage with our partnership. Additionally, If you decide not to move forward, your deposit will be refunded completely.

We also invoice you for the Christmas Bonus which is approximately USD 1,200 per annum per employee and is prorated depending as to when the StackTrek Tech Expert begins his assignment to your company.

Other than that, that’s it. No hidden costs, no hidden charges.

No. Our clients have the option to stay with us for 3 months or 3 years — there is no minimum or maximum contract term. As long as you are happy with our partnership then we can continue our business relationship. So far, no client has ever left us and are still with us for these past few years.

STACKTREK SERVICES

You could start with 1 headcount to as much as an initial 50 headcount for your company. We provide a shared Project Manager for every 5 developers and once we get to your 6th Tech Expert, we will provide you a dedicated Project Manager.

The moment our Master Service Agreement and Scope of Work are signed and the deposit is credited, we immediately begin sourcing and testing. This process usually takes an average of 30 to 45 days depending on the specific requirements of the Tech Expert that you are looking for. In the rare event that StackTrek is not able to find the Tech Expert, your deposit will be fully refunded.

Once we receive documentation of non-performance and an official request from you to find a replacement, our HR Team will be triggered to profile and find a developer more suited for your company and process.

TESTING AND SCREENING

No. Given that our StackTrek Tech Experts are in the Philippines, they all speak and write fluent English. The Philippines is recognized globally as one of the largest English-speaking countries in the world as it is spoken by more than 14 million Filipinos.

StackTrek has a proprietary assessment tool that objectively looks at the 8 skill areas of a developer and programmer. The exam lasts for 5-6 hours and provides an assessment the following skills: Simple Expression, Control Structures, Parsing and Regex, Error Handling, Standard Library Usage, Data Structures, Algorithms and Object Oriented Programming.

On top of this, we screen for communication skills, personality, and a high level of professionalism. Approximately, only 8% of applicants pass our assessment and screening process.

GEOGRAPHY

Our corporate office is located at 176 Queen’s Road Central Kam On Building Central Hong Kong.

Our Asia Pacific Headquarters is in Finman Centre, 131 Tordesillas Street, Salcedo Village in Makati City, Philippines

Our Tech Experts do not work from home. They to go to work in our facility in Dona Anaros Building Simon Ledesma Street Jaro in Iloilo City, Philippines.

You can go to our facility at any time. You may also invite your Tech Team to visit you in your home office. Simply let us know so we may assist you with the necessary travel needful and coordinate with the appropriate agencies.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The client. StackTrek’s only business is to ensure we create a Tech Team for your business and ensure we have the best developers and programmers assigned to your company — not intellectual property. Our contracts provide that all work created by a StackTrek Tech Expert is the property of the client, not StackTrek.

Under our Master Services Agreement, "the Client shall be the sole and exclusive owner of any and all systems, programs, deliverables, documentation and works which may be created out of or in connection with StackTrek’s services with the intent for the sole use of Client covered by the applicable Statement of Work(s), without material or territorial limitation, including copyright and intellectual property thereto, worldwide and in perpetuity.” Further, if you feel the need to execute a separate, specific arrangement with regard to matters concerning intellectual property, we can work with you to ensure that your needs are met.
